Love the size and the qaulity, not a fan of how the back straps block you opening the bag at times
I used it for a 3-day doc shoot at a conference and ended with zero pain in my back - AMAZING!
I love the Camera Saddle! I shoot with both a Sony FX6 and FX3 and this has made my footage far more stable and saves my back on long shoot days. I tried shoulder rigs in the past but never liked the way they felt and and I always had a sore shoulder at the end of the day. This makes long shoot days fun again.
A lot of the gear you buy over the years usually ends up sitting on a shelf. But this is something different. It’s become a core part of my everyday kit, and it has genuinely changed the way I shoot.
Sakk is a professional company through and through, all the way to delivery. The product comes wrapped in a premium pouch, and the build quality is outstanding. Honestly, I’m surprised they haven’t raised the price
I’ve always struggled to find a bag with enough capacity and strength to contain all my kit - not anymore. The Sakk V2 is a beast and perfect for photographers / videographers who like having that extra bit of gear all in one place.
Love how slim it looks even tho I loaded it with gears for my shoot
my back and my staff love this thing. It makes our lives and recovery so much easier. I just need to get the new shoulder pad
I do not like working with gimbals and this proved to be a terrific addition to my toolbag. I mainly shoot documentaries and corporate videos and I am very comfortable moving around with it. I also like that you can put the bag on the floor as well for low shots. And the big bonus is that I can now rest my arms at my sides from time to time. Very pleased with it.
Very nice! Keeps my back from alot of stress and makes long day shoots simple
Right sized for all of your gear. Well constructed, easy to reconfigure - best camera back-pack / bag I've used in my 48+ years of shooting!
I bought this bag because I needed to be able to take my laptop and camera together. When I received it, it looked way too small, but it easily fits a 14" laptop, a Canon R5 II with 24-70, and a small water bottle - just what I wanted to load it out with. It's surprisingly comfortable, and looks very low-profile, which I enjoy. The build of the bag is pretty good too
There are quite a few thoughtful organizational pockets, inside the main compartment which are great for accessories like memory cards, card readers and so on. There's also a hidden pocket right at the back of the bag, that might be great for a small notebook or ND filters.
The only faff I've found is the magnetic clip that covers the zips - it helps keep the bag from flopping open when the zips are open, but it also feels slightly cumbersome when wanting to grab my laptop.
Really a life changing piece of gear. "Save your back" is an excellent description - it takes a significant load off your back during long shoots. Just did a full day shoot, with long portions of it demanding handheld shots, and I made it out without the usual soreness!
The only difficulty I had was getting the height for eye-level shots, but in that scenario it's possible to use the Saddle to brace your elbows while holding the camera. I think this is a piece of gear you'll have to experiment with for a while before you really come to fully utilize it.
It's also great to stabilise the camera on random surfaces. I do wish the pockets could be bigger for future versions, it would be great to be able to keep a lens or two with you, or something like
I believe the new one is durable enough altho i went with this one and i have zero complains! I even use it to sit on when I’m on the field. Light and durable, just great.
The AXIS Crip from Sakk was exactly what I needed. I had already bought the Sakk Pack Cube, but I felt like there was still a little bit of missing storage space. This product filled that gap really well and made the whole setup feel much more complete. It gives me that extra bit of organisation I was looking for without adding unnecessary bulk.
This was perfect for me. I've been using cine saddle in another brands with rental, but this one is literally high standard in a reasonable price.
I purchased this because I found my existing PeliCase Storm IM2620 a little too deep to place in the aircraft overhead Cabins. That case was a beast, but this actually carries a lot more. I was able to fit an almost fully assembled Cinerig c/w Sony a6700 camera and V-Mount Battery. it also holds 3 additional V-Mount Batteries, a spare camera, 3 mid sized lenses a 200-600mm super -telephoto lens, flash, monitor a mamba pod / Atoll collar, gimbal and a shed load of accessories and cables. It's heavy, though appreciably lighter than the PeliCase. I even managed to attach it to a lightweight trolley, so that it can be wheeled around. This is a great bag and look forward to trying it out overseas.
I received this alongside my SAKK PACK V2
It's perfect for holding my travel documents, memory cards and other periferals. Converted mine into a slingback.
cool that it clips to bigger bags, though the clips just dangle when not attached to a bag and I am just waiting for them to break because they seem flimsy
